Description

This X-Z vertical compound slide with tool post is a professional lathe conversion milling attachment made of stress-relieved high-grade gray cast iron. It integrates horizontal X cross feed base, precision dovetail Z vertical lifting column and a built-in standard tool holder, which can be directly mounted on the lathe saddle to convert a regular lathe into a composite machine capable of milling, keyway slotting and vertical drilling.
  1. Integrated Standard Tool Post Design
    The front of the vertical column is equipped with a universal T-slot tool seat with red wear-resistant strips, which can directly install turning/milling tool bits without additional fixtures, fast tool change and stable clamping.
  2. Precision Dovetail Vertical Lifting Column
    Fully surface-ground dovetail guideway for Z-axis, equipped with adjustable gib strips to eliminate movement clearance; fine-pitch trapezoidal lead screw ensures smooth vertical lifting and consistent positioning accuracy.
  3. Dual Independent Graduated Handwheels
    Separate calibrated handwheels for X horizontal feed and Z vertical lifting axes, clear micrometer scale for ultra-fine manual adjustment, suitable for precision slotting and surface milling.
  4. Reinforced Integral Cast Iron Frame
    Thickened cast iron base and curved reinforcing vertical bracket greatly improve rigidity and vibration absorption, maintaining stable cutting performance under medium-load milling operations.
