Description

The H-151 series vernier depth gauge is a specialized precision measuring tool designed exclusively for depth dimension inspection. Different from standard general-purpose Calipers , its wide flat reference base provides a stable flat benchmark against workpiece surfaces, eliminating tilt errors during depth probing and delivering far higher consistency for deep hole, blind hole, groove and step depth measurement. Adopting a traditional vernier mechanical structure, it works reliably in dusty, oily, high-vibration workshop environments without relying on batteries or electronic components.
  1. Flat Reference Base for Stable Benchmark Measurement
The wide, precision-lapped rectangular base sits flush on workpiece top surfaces, forming a perpendicular reference plane for the measuring probe. This design prevents rocking and inclination during measurement, effectively avoiding inaccurate readings common when using ordinary caliper depth blades for deep dimension detection.
  2. Hardened Stainless Steel Industrial Construction
The entire rule, sliding carriage and reference base are manufactured from high-grade hardened stainless steel, with anti-corrosion surface treatment. Precision-ground measuring surfaces deliver excellent wear resistance and long-term dimensional stability, resisting deformation and edge wear after thousands of repeated depth probing operations.
  3. Fine Adjustment Mechanism for Precise Positioning
Built-in fine adjustment screw enables slow, controlled advancement of the measuring rule, allowing operators to gently seat the probe onto the bottom of blind holes or recesses for highly accurate readings, ideal for tight-tolerance precision inspection requirements. A locking screw secures the sliding position for convenient off-workpiece reading and recording.
  4. Clear Etched Vernier Scale with Fixed High Resolution
Precision-etched wear-resistant vernier scale with fixed 0.02mm metric / 0.0001" imperial resolution, delivering stable ±0.02mm basic accuracy. Markings remain legible after years of workshop use, no fading or abrasion. Fully mechanical structure eliminates downtime caused by dead batteries or electronic circuit failure.
  5. Six Size Options Cover Full Application Requirements
Six standard measuring ranges from 150mm up to 1000mm, covering small precision blind holes to deep large cavity depth measurement needs for heavy-duty machined parts, molds and structural components.
