Description

This precision thread plug gauge is a dedicated quality control measuring tool for internal thread tolerance inspection, widely applied in tapping, mold manufacturing, hardware processing and fastener production to verify whether the pitch diameter of internal threads falls within the qualified tolerance range. It adopts a double-end integrated design, with the GO end for minimum tolerance verification and the NOGO end for maximum tolerance verification, completing pass/fail judgment in one operation without replacing gauges, which greatly improves batch inspection efficiency.
  1. Hardened Alloy Steel Durable Construction
    All thread plug gauges are forged from high-grade alloy steel, overall quenched and hardened to deliver excellent wear resistance and long-term dimensional stability. The precision ground thread profile maintains accurate tooth shape and pitch after long-term frequent insertion testing, providing 3–5 times longer service life than ordinary carbon steel gauges, and is fully suitable for heavy daily workshop inspection work.
  2. Standard 6H Accuracy & Multiple Grade Options
    The default accuracy grade is 6H, the most widely used industrial standard for general internal thread inspection. Grade 5H, 6G and 7H are also available on request to match different thread tolerance requirements. Each gauge undergoes 100% factory calibration and inspection to ensure reliable and traceable inspection results.
  3. Double-End GO/NOGO Integrated Design
    One gauge integrates both GO (go-side) and NOGO (no-go-side) testing ends. The GO end, corresponding to the maximum material condition of the internal thread, should screw fully and smoothly into a qualified threaded hole. The NOGO end, corresponding to the minimum material condition, should not screw in more than 2 threads, enabling intuitive and fast pass/fail judgment. The middle handle is marked with clear laser-engraved size, pitch and accuracy grade for easy identification and management.

    The complete metric size range from M2.0 to M140 covers almost all common internal thread specifications in mechanical processing. Imperial thread sizes, special pitch gauges and custom non-standard thread gauges are also available to meet special industry inspection requirements. A 44-piece full set configuration with wooden storage case is also available for professional QC laboratories and tool rooms.
