Description

This BT-SLA side lock tool holder is a heavy-duty rigid clamping fixture developed for high-load rough machining. It is integrally forged from high-strength 40Cr alloy steel and subjected to overall quenching plus full hard precision grinding, solving the slipping and pulling-out problems of cutters during large-allowance rough cutting.
  1. Weldon Flat Side Anti-slip Locking Mechanism
    The inner clamping bore is matched with standard Weldon flat square-shank cutters. Tighten the lateral locking screw to directly compress the flat surface of the tool shank to achieve rigid full-surface locking. There is no relative sliding between the tool and the holder even under high-feed heavy rough milling, effectively avoiding dimensional errors and tool breakage caused by cutter slipping.
  2. Fully Hard-ground Standard BT Spindle Taper
    BT30, BT40 and BT50 tapers undergo complete hard precision grinding, forming perfect surface contact with the machine spindle taper hole. It provides excellent repeat positioning accuracy during automatic tool change and maintains stable overall rigidity under ultra-high spindle speed and heavy cutting load.
  3. Deformation-resistant Wear-resistant Hardened Steel Body
    The whole tool blank is integrally quenched to high hardness, with mirror polishing and anti-rust protective coating on the outer surface. It can resist permanent deformation and metal wear under long-term continuous heavy cutting, and maintain consistent clamping stability in mass production for a long time.
  4. Complete Standard Size Series
    Covers three mainstream spindle tapers BT30, BT40 and BT50; the inner clamping bore D1 ranges from 6mm to 50mm, equipped with multiple standard overall length specifications (75L / 90L / 100L / 150L). Short stubby models are for ultra-rigid heavy cutting, while long extended models meet deep cavity machining demands.
  5. Wide Heavy Machining Application Scenarios
    Mainly used for heavy rough milling, step surface milling, deep slotting and large-allowance blank roughing. Widely matched with vertical machining centers for mold steel processing, automotive structural parts, mechanical thick steel parts and hardware batch rough machining.
